Guest guest
Hi, . In our case the benefit of the Celexa outweighs the itching. But, if your daughter's itching is too much, and the medication isn't helping her OCD enough, you could always try another med to see if she loses the side effect. Just a thought. If you stay with the Zoloft, . . . .I'm glad to hear that she's used Zyrtec before. It will most likely be helpful for her now too, then. But, hopefully the itching went away and will stay away. I'm sorry to hear she has chronic life long health issues. Josh does too. It sure adds to the frustration and anxiety of an already anxiety ridden kid. The itching is in various places (generalized) and she does not have a rash. In the past, she tried regular fluoxetine (not liquid) and didn't have itching like this. Does anyone know if Prozac/fluoxetine can cause itching? > > > > > > It's driving me crazy because every single day there's an issue of some kind. Today it's the itching and of course, the anxiety and tears. I can't get any peace and my own depression (and OCD) is really bad right now. And of course, she gets no peace, either. I don't feel that the doctors are any help at all. I feel like we are on our own and i am really and truly about to give up. I don't feel I can keep going like this much longer. I wish the doctors cared about my daughter the way I do - I wish they cared enough to really make an effort to think outside the box and find something to help her - but I guess that's unrealistic and just too much to hope for. They don't care, they just don't care. > > > > > > Thanks for any info and for listening. > > > > > >
