alarm for wandering child needed

does anyone know of a device that a child can wear that will alarm if the child gets a certain distance away from the parent? One of our members is having a lot of trouble with her 4 year old getting out of the house and going down the street before anyone realizes she is gone (she is pretty tricky)

any help would be appreciated.thanksKathyR
