Guest guest
Hi All, I am struggling with a nasty rash that my daughter Tianna (DS) has. Tianna is 4 years old. She had open heart surgery right before she turned 3 months old. As far as I can remember this rash started after her surgery. The rash is a vaginal rash, very red and sore. It seems to get worse and better but never really goes away. I thought that it was a yeast rash and treated her for that but with no success. The ped. prescribed about 4 different lotions none of which helped to much. The best one is Nystatin with Triamcinolone. I use it only when the rash is really bad to calm it somewhat but it doesn't go away. Tianna now has in addition to the very red and sore vagina, some raised red spots with white pustule centers located more in her panty area. Sorry for the vivid description but I am hoping that you might have some words of advice for me. Thanks for reading my long post.
