Guest guest
Hi , When he does urinate, is his stream thick or thin - he could have a partial blockage making it difficult to urinate. Another indicator would be a stream that goes to the side rather than straight. My son had that when he was younger and needed surgery to correct it. He's been fine since. Have you talked to his physician?  If this is the prolem he will need to see a urologist. Hope this helps, Sue Subject: Urinary issues To: Date: Wednesday, January 26, 2011, 2:06 PM  Our son age 13 has been holding his urine.he also acts like he is straining ween he finally goes.has any one else had this issue. Guest guest
Have you taken your son to his doctor? He could have an enlarged prostate or a urinary tract infection. My son (ph, 12) did the same thing and it was a urinary tract infection, but his doctor checked his prostate first. Dena
