Hi, Everyone....this Similarity list is amazing. Our kids are so much

alike, yet so different. Kris, many of what you posted for DJ is/was Gareth.

He would never talk with the phone by his ear.....we always had to use the

speaker phone for him. Even now, with his cell phone, he puts it on

speaker mode to talk!!!

Never was one for kisses/hugs from me....only he can decide on when to give

a hug. He use to give us Mowgli kisses (licks on the face).

I'm still the hinney wiper unless I am gone and only Dad is around. Will

not tolerate shampoos, lotions, soaps, etc on hands.....instant gag reflex.

No gels, smelly hair spray, perfumes, or 'wet hair' look....causes him to

gag and throw up. I swear he's got the nose of a bloodhound....he just

gives me that look that something is in the air and starts to gag.

Not allowed to have music on or do any singing....even if I am quietly

humming a song to myself. " Stop singing. "

Mirrors......no way!!! I have to tell him to look in the mirror and wipe

the toothpaste off his face EVERY time. He wipes the toothpaste off but

won't look in the mirror!!! Once in a while, he will look in the mirror to

fix his hair.....very rarely and very quickly.

He does allow me to cut his hair, once or twice a year!!! Doesn't bother

me that it's long, but sure bothers his Dad and brother. I keep telling

them that Jesus had long hair, too. Besides, I grew up with long haired

hippy freaks in HS....me and my best guy friends!!!

Heaven forbid if you try to take a different road or another way to

someplace!!!

Louise....glad to hear is doing well. We keep eliminating

possibilities for Gareth's mental decline and always come back to AD. He's

doing OK

for now.

Jayne.....when Gareth got really sick last summer, I went to Walmart and

bought the cheapest baby monitor. I still use it every night now since he's

up through the night these days. Last night, at 5:00 am, I heard him

rooting through his drawers looking for his softball shirt. We get the shirt

and I get him back in bed. He finally goes back to sleep and I'm wide

awake!!!

Carla....I will keep you and in my prayers. What brought this

on.....sudden bruising or something else?

Take care, Everyone.

Margaret
