They get weighed and measured etc, a typical check up analysis. He usually has a few students that he asks to join us (with my approval). They watch as he checks the children and we discuss their development. He may give me reminders as to certain check ups I should be getting them. For example, children with Trisomy 18 are susceptible to Wilm's Tumors so he will have me take for a sonogram. I feel like we are more of a study for them to collect data but I do get some usefulness out of the visits. For example, it was the geneticist that gave Birgitta her FAS and Autism diagnosis.
