If I can manage to change my thumb to green, I am going to be growing my own

spring type greens.  I wasn't able to get in contact with the woman who had the

used aerogarden so I can only do one crop until I get another one.  Maybe she

sold it but she could have called me back to let me know.  I was counting on

herbs and greens.  I needed another for lettuces.  They will be coming to

check me out if I were to get more aerogardens as they would look at electric

bills and a big jump might make them think I am growing some of those plants I

have been seeing when I was trying to see tomato plants on youtube.  All of a

sudden when they got bigger I said aloud, " that is not a tomato plant " as the

leaves showed more clearly.  My back and knees are not hurting me that much

YET.

It is probably cheaper to buy them at the store though (spring greens that

is).  I saw an interesting salad in the Microgreens book I got recently.  They

had chefs in the back with some recipes.    I really like the clover and

radish sprouts in a salad.  I can recognize the sweetness of the clover and the

little nibbling bite of the radish.  Whole radish is too much bit (shark's

teeth) for me, unless small and not very hot.  I don't know if my broccoli

sprouted as i couldn't taste that.  Next time I get it going I may nibble on

one at a time to see if I can recognize it.  The alfalfa, it is easy to taste

but not sure I'd recognize the difference between it and something else.

Lucky I got to use the computer, Alan is out around the corner at the laundromat

and I'm going now to go and get him.

In the salad, the big green leaf on the left is part of a package of Organic

Spring Mix that I had purchased. I like to mix it up a bit.

And these sunnies and pea shoots on a salad is absolute heaven.

I can't imagine eating anything else. lol

and found it was yours, too, as I recognized your voice.  The flax seemed to

be doing really well.  The salad over there was really looking good.

There was something there with a bigger leaf on the left, what was that?  Did

you have any larger greens under all those sprouts?

to plant outside.  I want to reclaim my sprouting trays to sterilize them and

get started again.  I think beans may go bad if I don't.  The water is

dark off them now.  Don't seem to have a lot of leaves on them, mainly at

top.  but some are a little different as i do have different types

of beans.  I am going to plant them near one another when I get them

outside.  I did buy some of those peat pots that  you put in water and

they pop up.  I will pop up just enough for the sprouts I have.  Their sad

beginning shouldn't affect their progeny, if they produce.    I still

haven't done anything with my sunnies.  I wonder if they would sprout on

paper toweling like the flax (if they do)?
