I recall several years ago the Gerbil admitted for the first time (as a

spokesperson for the CDC) that the DTwP was indeed assicuated with infant

mortality but that the DTaP was not and neither was associated with onset of

seizure disorder. This was a real watershed moment, because for at least 15

years the CDC had been adamant that DTwP was NOT causing children's deaths,

despite the Industry's research (including package insert disclosures), the

research that went into Shot in the Dark, and COngress' response to industry

concerns about liability, because all parties on the inside were fully cognizant

that the pertussis toxoid did indeed kill some of the infants it was used on,

for reasons never disclosed or researched (which could have lead to " legitimate "

medical exemptions for those same infants).

Now, after Dr has left the CDC for her industry payoff for all her hard

work, we find out that previous criticisms about the DTP (in either form)

causing the onset of seizure disorder were in fact on the money. Surprise

surprise.

I personally would like to see 2 studies conducted before we dismiss this new

admission as irrelevant to compulsary vaccination. I would like to see a large

study conducted among people under the age of 30 who have had ongoing seizure

disorder to see what the percentage of vaccinate/unvaccinated are. IF the same

percentage of people with seizure disorder are unvaccinated as the general

population, then I would like to see several of the " pockets " of unvaccinated

children studied to see how many of them have seizure disorder and then compare

that to the percentage of overall society who have seizure disorder.

And I do not mean cherry-picking the test populations to support a predetermined

outcome and then hiding the datasets from independant review.
