many prayers, it will go fine, we always have nathan's case worker and mr/mh

workers etc at his iep meetings, it is a great benefit, they hlep support

you and your child kinda adds more to your side of the team or table. hugs

Mom to Zeb 12 DS?OCD/ASD?

Well, Tori had her IEP Tuesday, and oh what a whack her teacher is! The woman

doesn't even know how to read the forms! Anyway, we had to fill out a survey

prior to it and return it telling them what Tori could do and what our goals

were on certain things, well...dingy put what our goals were in the IEP as she

has already achieved them. After I straightened her out, I mentioned the fact

that all kids with DS are NOT ALIKE. Some are higher functioning than others

and just because they look the same does not mean they ARE the same. I was well

behaved when I spoke and explained that Tori is on the higher end of both DS and

ASD and the DS was not an issue for me as far as her progressing in school. The

ASD is hindering her because of behavioral issues. Hopefully, they have some

what of a clue now and will get their act together. Her transition meeting for

Kindergarten is Feb. 15. Oh, I can't wait.
