Guest guest
hi everyone, Thanks to all of you who have asked about my knee. Bottom line-there is no quick fix! I am not a candidate for the new partial knee replacement technique as my problem is the wrong side of the leg!!!! However, the doctor-nice, friendly, smiley and encouraging-said he is confident that if i do a regime of leg exercises i can reduce the pain. I have to do straight leg raises until i can do it without pain and then add 2 lb weights and gradually increase to 10 lbs on the ankle. I will trust him and i started the leg work today!!! I guess i'll have thighs of steel when i'm done and great knees too! We had a good time in the big city but much happier back home on the island........too big, too busy for us. The hotel had a super heated outdoor pool and we both did laps and soaked up the mountain views. Our room overlooked the marina and the mountains..........lots of rowers from the nearby rowing club in stanley park. Walking was great along the seawall and into stanley park..........gorgeous colour everywhere.......spring is a lovely season in BC. We enjoyed the ferry ride, it takes about 1 1/2 hours and the views are fabulous all the way. soft ocean breezes ______________________________________________________________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals.yahoo.ca
