Guest guest
My understanding of the new " 1 in 150 " statistic of children diagnosed with autism is that this only includes those diagnosed with classic Autism, and not the other four categories of pervasive developmental disorders (including PDD-NOS). I would classify my 4 year old as moderately impaired, yet he received a diagnosis of PDD-NOS. I'm wondering what the statistic would be if all categories were included. Has this been calculated? I believe the " 1 in 150 " is a gross underestimate. Yerly Austin, TX
