Guest guest
I have been reluctant to ask, but at this point what do I have to lose. I have been watching, and sometimes participating in this group for a few months now. Though I have heard a few of us reference this idea, it appears we are doing very little to raise awareness. Is it because we are men? Are we stubborn? Are we ashamed? I recently heard a doctor say that he thought the state of awareness regarding Prostate Cancer is where Breast Cancer was 15 years ago. We need to get loud, do more, raise money, have our friends, family....complete strangers get screened. Personally, almost as soon as I was diagnosed I started a non-profit foundation; the link is below my name, The question I have is 'What are the rest of you doing?'. If we don't make a difference, who will? I have now stepped down from my soapbox, thank you for you time.
