Guest guest
Hi, all. I'm not sure if anybody has done this, but I've had great success with it - so I wanted to share it... It's a free service sponsored by the Hand Pain Society (a nonprofit org). I didn't pay a cent and got a lot in return. I struggled with hand pain for a long time and these people will give you a real (professional) medical evaluation of your symptoms. There are two forms to fill out that describe your symptoms and you just submit them. Dr. Christian evaluates them for you; and get a personal email back, not just a form letter. He told me I most likely had carpal tunnel syndrome. Last year a hand doctor told me that I had either carpal tunnel OR tendonitis. It's nice to get a second opinion (cyber, anyway). Dr. recommended some simple home therapies and treatments. He also sent me a lot of free literature and guides. I'm doing exercises right now and it's making a BIG difference since my pain/numbness is almost gone. Basically, all you have to do in return is tell Dr. how you're progressing (because he's doing a survey on hand pain cures for the FDA and needs to collect data). It's also nice to know my data might help others too. Hey, it seemed like a pretty good deal to me… and it was all free! Anyway, here's the site: www.aboutcarpaltunnelsyndrome.info I hope this helps somebody, Kathy
