Guest guest
Square Dancing is fun and it is basically just walking. The convention doesn't start until the 21st so hopefully you'll be back before then and we can see you. I don't know if they will let non-square dancers in, I think we are planning to in our 2001 National convention that we are involved in here in Anaheim (across from Disneyland). The best part of Square Dancing is meeting so many friends and lots and lots of hugs. Guest guest
Larry, If you are interested in learning to square dance classes are usually starting in September. The people that are putting on the Baltimore convention seem real nice. We met one couple at our State Convention in April. If you don't know how to find out about classes ( I would have assumed that they had flyers at the demo) I can send you a phone # of someone on the committee and they can steer you to the closest club. Phil and I met through square dancing. The thing that Phil and I like about it is that it's good clean, non-drinking, non-smoking fun. The worst problem we have with it is eating all the sweets they have at the dances and other social affairs they have.
