I ordered the half sheet months ago. I do think it is helping with my sleep. It comes with a grounding rod (into the dirt) and one that goes into an outlet.

Hi , thanks for the reply. Do you use the grounding rod or the outlet plug?

Thanks for the input Lena!

Do you know your blood is sticky from fibrinogen testing? I had that test done

a month or two ago, it was within normal range and my dr didn't seem to think

anything was awry, but I know how that can go!

Does earthing cancel out rife frx if you're rifing while earthing or even if you

do it after or before?

By beginning slow do you mean only so many hours a night or skipping nights

or???

Do you use the grouding rod or the outlet plug?

I use the outlet plug. I also run the half sheet lengthwise - king size. I tuck it in at the foot, run it under my pillow and back over the top of my pillow. So, I'm grounded head to toe.  I wish it were wider. I have to retuck each night.  That's OK, the benefit is worth it.

Good idea running the sheet lengthwise! If the wrist band seems to work I may

graduate to the sheet. Just didn't want to spend the $ til I know it works for

me. Thank you!

Hi ,Area of exposure has nothing to do with grounding. I think sheets are used to make sure that SOME part of the body is making contact, what with pajamas, etc. You're either grounded or you're not. I learned that when I got my bands. I figured if they sent me three, I should wear them all. Not so. Just one will make and complete that grounding contact. Just one point. Works just like electrical contact. Be well,LénaI use the outlet plug. I also run the half sheet lengthwise - king size. Thanks for this info Lena!

It's what I thought, but good to hear others agree. I'm fine with just the

wrist band. The less obtrusive the better. I can use it on wrist or ankle. If it

works well I may get the sheet to include my husband. IF he even belives it.

Well, actually his thoughts on it are immaterial, if it works it works!

Thanks for answering! I'll go slowly at first and check the outlet first!

Hi ,That's how I feel too.=)Now, I want to get a ground for our truck when we're on the road, pulling the Airstream. (And also ground the Airstream when we're at campgrounds.) It's amazing how much static one can generate over many miles, and I know we'd arrive feeling more rested if we were grounded.BTW, With the three bands I got came 1 long but coiled ground wire. I ordered a second ground wire, so now my husband and I can both wear a band and get the benefit. I haven't convinced him yet, but fortunately he's much healthier than me.Be well,Léna Thanks for this info Lena! It's what I thought, but good to hear others agree. I'm fine with just the wrist band. I get the $ thing. Could you put the wrist band around your ankle at night and sleep? My friend has two earthing sheets, but her husband doesn't want to use it. She offered it to me for half, but I don't need it. She is meticulously clean, should I ask her if she still wants to sell it?

I think the wrist band is for the wrist or ankle. I will try it both ways.

I'm not ready to buy a sheet just yet. I just ordered this today! Have to try

it. Thanks for offering!

Can you just take your grounding bands with you on the road and get a metal rod

to stick in the ground? Seems it may be doable.

I'm sure lots of people don't believe grounding does anything. But if he sees

you doing better with it that ought to at least make him want to try! Good Luck,

if he's healthy it may not help him as much, or rather he may not notice it like

we would.

It sounds like a good deal. Its main best feature is that it's passive; you don't have to put it on and off when you get into bed. LénaI get the $ thing. Hi ,That's probably what I'll do: ground the trailer's electrical system. But grounding strip for cars and trucks are available and they really help road fatigue. My husband's a classic Taurean (blessing and curse) who comes around eventually. Lyme and living with him have both taught me patience! ;)Be well,LénaCan you just take your grounding bands with you on the road and get a metal rod to stick in the ground? I've been using the wrist cord since February. It has helped sleep a lot for

me, I wouldn't be without it. I think it helps with detox too.

I also introduced it to a friend who has had sleep issues since childhood and is

in her 60s. It has helped her too. Both of us have experienced surprising

results with helping with jet leg after traveling internationally.

I put it on wrist or ankle at night, depending on the location of the outlet.

Lena I didn't realize you were talking about actually grounding the truck while

you travelled. The ground strips are the ones that hang down in back of the

tires or wherever, correct? I recall seeing those in the past but not in recent

years.

Taurean or not, I think most men are skeptics about anything unusual. My husband

tends to doubt everything at first. But like yours he usually comes around.

Earthing works best when the more skin is in contact with the sheet.

You'll be grounded if just a tiny portion is touching your skin but again, best

results have as much skin to sheet contact as possibly. Especially around

problem areas that have inflammation and pain.

Have used the grounding rod and plug into grounded outlet and can't tell much of

a difference but has been said before that it's preferable to use grounding rod

when possible.

Also, there is a specific acupuncture location on the soles of your feet and

palms of your hand that also gives superior results.

hope this helps

Prior to my diagnosis I was looking at Earthing for my " so-called menopausal

symptoms " , which in reality was Lyme. I read the book and decided to purchase an

anti-static mat that I placed on my car seat and alligator clipped to metal on

the seat. I had to unclip it because I felt a symptom increase (perhaps a Herx

before I knew what that was) while driving home. This was shortly before my body

crashed. I have not tried it since. Blessings, Meo

Clipping to the metal on the seat wouldn't ground you, as the car isn't grounded, insulated by its rubber tires. You probably just amplified the positive static char that was building up in the car. That's why you have to have a grounding strip clamped to the car's under carriage, which makes contact with the ground.Be well,LénaPrior to my diagnosis I was looking at Earthing for my "so-called menopausal symptoms", which in reality was Lyme. As I posted here yesterday, I bought a wrist band and cord. I used it for the

first time last evening while I was on the computer. Instructions are to go slow

so I only did it for maybe 40 minutes.

In the middle of the night I woke

very nervous, jittery, foggy brain, and buzzing sensations in my arms

and legs. I have felt this way before but it isn't often! I wonder if I am

having a reaction to the earthing or just a flare up? I wasn't really expecting

anything from this other than a better night's sleep. I'm still feeling jittery

and having heart palps. Weird. Any input or

experiences from anybody?
