Guest guest
I am 67, and diagnosed with PC, found with a biopsy performed the day before thanksgiving. My large CA health plan I belonged to offered surgery. My wife and I got on the internet and she extensively researched the options. We were very fortunate to find a leading doctor in the seeding implant technique who worked only 1 hour from us in southern CA. We choose this because we felt it offered as much as surgery without the complications and side effects. On 2/13 I had the pallidium implants during a 2 hour procedure. After another 3 hours in recovery I went home. The next day I felt pretty good, and that has continued. The side effects I am experiencing are frequent urination and burning when I urinate. Recently I have had constipation and difficulty with bowel movements. These will improve in time. My wife and I feel we made the right choice, and believe strongly that selecting the right doctor is the most important decision to make.
