Guest guest
LL, one thing that has helped me right my ship of late is an awareness and attention to a simple cause and effect. It goes like this: Whenever I see, hear, or think about my foo, I get depressed--straight to the lowest low, do not pass go. I wish it weren't true, but it's a fact. Every time. All judgements aside. A simple matter of logistics: I just can't afford to lose another month, week, day. I completely related to what you wrote in an earlier reply--there isn't any love there. Obligation, guilt, yes. But no love. You're getting married--that's terrific. Congratulations. Perhaps a gift is in order--from you to you. > > *sigh* > > I wish I could afford counseling. > > But, there is no money, no money, no money. > > And I'm getting married, and it's Christmas. > > *sigh* > > Thank you so much for your two cents. > > But that made me want to open it up to a more inclusive discussion. > Are you n/c?
