Guest guest
Didn't get to work out yesterday, boo hoo, life got in the way, had to counsel an employee and that took twice as long as expected, then had to rush home and feed the kids, make sure homework underway, leave when my husband arrived to go give a talk to a Caregiver's support group about dementia. The talk was supposed to take 30min then 30 min of questions, then I was supposed to be able to leave and they would have their meeting. Well the talk was 30min, but the question and answer session ran over an hour and a half, by the time I got home it was an hour past my youngest's bed time, but he still needed his story to settle down. After reading I turned the light out and the next thing I knew, it seemed like 5 minutes, it was 20 minutes past when I usually get up and I was still lying next to my son, fully clothed... However, I am feeling good today. I am aiming to try to start my tae bo for the day around 430 to coincide with your start time, and will do the basic training with ya! Will report back and compare notes. I know I said Monday I was going to start but... Curiousity got the best of me and today we'll see just how good of shape (or bad) I'm in. I already have 9-1- entered in my phone and reserved a room at the hospital just in case (ha ha ha). Just kidding, of course. Will report in three hours on the outcome...or lack thereof. Guest guest
Dr. Delana, Doctor! Doctor! I need PAIN KILLERS!!! My shoulders are numb, my legs and arms feel like jelly, and my abdominals are on fire. Basic Training Bootcamp is AWESOME!!! However, I did find out how out of shape certain muscle groups are. I did not complete every single set and/or repitition as my muscles got to the point where they exhausted themselves. This is not a bad thing. This is a good thing as now I know what to expect the next time Basic Training comes around. Positive thinking will get us through further each time we workout. Now, I can tell that Tae-Bo workouts are going to jump from one to another. I did not feel like I got an adequate biceps workout while doing Basic Training. Also, not a whole lot of cardio. Everything else was worked to the max...I thought.
