Guest guest
Moderator's note: Developing hives, from taking Trazadone, doesn't indicate resistance. That's an allergic reaction. Kaylene Hi Rick and Breanna, I used Trazadone for several years, until I finally developed a resistance to it and then broke out in major hives all over from the drug. I tried Lunesta, I took it for 4-5 days and it made me almost psychotic. I have been taking Ambien for almost 7 months now. At least I sleep. I need to make sure I don't eat a heavy, fatty meal in the evening (which is healthier anyway!) and ensure than I have at least 7-8 hours to sleep. These are also the recommendations for use of Ambien. I take a 5 mg Methadone about an hour before the Ambien and for the first time in several years, I am getting some decent rest. Hope this helps, Kris in VA climber789 wrote Hi Breanna, Have you tired Trazodone for sleep it is less expensive
Guest guest
Thanks Kaylene, you are absolutely right. My " very bright " former physician would only term it " resistance " . I KNEW better, as hives are an allergic reaction, but that was before HIPAA, and I could NOT get the record changed. Thanks for your note for clarification!!
