Guest guest
Ohhh..................what a fox in that dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to hear about your leg issues, tho. Karate, hm? Sounds like more work that what I'd want to do. LOLOLOL Glad to hear from you again. Z. I am gonna drive a Bobcat when I grow up! Hey everyone!! Yesterday I spent the day ripping out concrete with my husband, .....man am I was tired when we were done!!! He was running the bobcat and I loaded concrete when needed. I was busting my behind and he says to me, " Honey, I am gonna have to take a break, my @ss fell asleep. " LMAO!!! I laughed so hard I almost dropped the chunk of concrete I was wrestling with on my foot! After that remark, I demanded a raise! He wasn't paying me enough to be heckled by the operator! Note to Self: Take the operator's job next time. This week was great! My leg is looking good and Karate class is awesome!!! (although I look like a dork with my lack of balance.) I have always wanted to do something like that but just never had the opportunity to try. (Priorities keep me from it.) Doc called and they want to remove more skin from my leg so the whole little stitches/healing dilema will start again but I will have a couple weeks of solid workouts before I have it done and have to baby the site. I have been so careful eat clean and not gain weight while I was healing up and with the holidays coming I kept thinking, " I will not work so hard all year to blimp out in the end and look awful in all the beautiful holiday dresses I will be wearing to various events!. I have never had the nerve to wear one. Anyway I see this one and it is so pretty. I never tried it on, I just bought it in a size 9 thinking, " It will be a little snug, but it will be my incentive to lose another 5 pounds of fat before the holidays. Guest guest
Machelle, I'm glad you can readily accept the need for the additional poking at you and I'm amazed you haven't detoured from the program. A big congrats for your dedication and courage! Now, as for the picture of you in that dress. WOW! Can anyone say. " HOT MOMMA " ! You look fantastic! Your pose is perfect and your self described " mom hair " and bare feet add that bit of sensual mystique. I didn't see anything that even remotely looked out of place. .And believe me, I did examine your picture! :-) None of my previous concrete contractors were ever able to dress like THAT!!! Next time I have excavation work on tap, I know who I'm calling. :-) Keep inspiring us all. - - - - - Holowko, CPA, CCP PO Box 444 Lafayette Hill, PA 19444-0444 - - - - - Telephone: - - - - - E-mailto:gholowko@... - - - - - Remember... Guest guest
, Funny thing happened, even though you are a member of the group, your message was stopped by Yahoo Groups spam filter. It must have been the " HOT MOMMA " . We'll see if my message goes through. Andy > Now, as for the picture of you in that dress. WOW! Can anyone say. " HOT > MOMMA " ! Guest guest
Yeah, her message kind of prepared me for a so-so picture and then when I viewed the picture, it was like the dress was designed for her to model it. Guest guest
Awww, you all are so kind. Thanks, your comments made me feel really good. For the first time in MANY years I feel good about the way I look. I am by no means " at my goal " but I certainly don't cringe anymore when I pass a mirror. I used to always have this vision of myself as a " burly " woman (if that makes sense) I never went out of my way to wear make-up or do my hair. I just figured it wasn't gonnna matter cause all I saw was this fat dumpy woman in the mirror no matter what I did. At 5'9 " and med build, cute and petite have NEVER been desriptive words for me and never will. (I know, totally harsh on myself.) Now, I am finding that I actually enjoy some of those " girly " things I avoided like the plague, LOL! I think I will always be a " tom-boy " but I will have great hair doing it! Haha! I can't begin to put into words what finding BFL has done for me. It has done so much more than put me on a healthy path, it has brought me out of my self-imposed shell. I like it out here!!!!
