Guest guest
Go to Disney! Anyone who questions it or looks down on you for doing so simply does not understand what dealing with this disease does to you and to your family. Make the trip as economical as possible while still allowing yourselves to have a good time. If anyone asks questions, give them honest, open answers. I find that most people are very understanding if they know the whole truth. I have had to learn to open up to people and SAY WHAT IS ON MY HEART WITH LOVE. I'm sure your Mom is only thinking of you and your family and wants to do what is right. However, your Mom is not the one living in your house and facing the issues you and your family are facing. Those people who will say " If they can afford a trip to Disneyland, they don't need any help " are just small minded people who haven't yet faced the kind of life altering situation you have been forced to. Perhaps your journey will be what helps those people understand what real giving is and where it should begin.....the heart.
