Guest guest
I work in the ICU and we had a patient come in with changes in level of consciousness and to rule out encephalitis. She was a screaming, combative banshee. Her lumbar puncture and CT were all normal. She had one brief moment of lucidity, stated that her neighbors had sprayed a tree the day before. We called the neighbor's service provider to find out what was used, then looked into its Material Data Safety sheets. This patient had every side effect listed from exposure. Once the chemical was isolated, she was treated and appeared to return to " normal " however, who truly knows about residual CNS damage? The moral here is to keep your entire family in when any chemicals are being used. > Is it any wonder that so many infants and toddlers have overwhelmed > detoxification?
