Guest guest
I could be wrong, but I would imagine that online teachers are part of these online courses. Otherwise, how could they be of any benefit to anyone. It would be best to have your parents' help, but I don't believe it's necessary in these online schools. For instance, the first one in the list: " Agave Distance Learning " states on the home page: " One-on-one instruction with certified teachers " . > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello, everyone, this Thursday you will see misophonia featured on the Today Show, with a taped session of yours truly, so tune in and enjoy, it is OUR HOUR. > > > > > > > > > > > > Welcome to all the new people. > > > > > > > > > > > > Dr. Marsha , Audiologist > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I’m going to take all this information to the high school principal and make her aware of this condition—I’ve wanted to do this before, but now with the article and spot on the Today show, I have more credibility. I want to go around to all the schools in the area, but am going to start with the high school. Nothing like this 50+ years ago when I was in school. Get a note from Dr. or somebody reputable along with all that you can print out on the subject now available online and put up a stink. Beats the alternative!Mike To: Soundsensitivity Sent: Tuesday, September 6, 2011 9:39 PMSubject: Re: Re: Thursday Morning Today Show NYC I made it through high school and ended up Making it through college (by having my own room). This was before ipods and noise machines. I am wondering if you could take this article to your school counselor and ask for some ideas on coping? As a grown up who works at home and has a lot of control over my environment now...you will make it and it will be OK. Just knowing I am not crazy or defective is a lovely thing. Thank you! I am crying from happyness. I am 14 and has had this for 10 years. It is so bad I question if I will make it through each day. I would be happier if the subject on school and misophonia would be discussed. I am about to drop out ASAP. I wish for others to be aware of the impact this has on the lives of the sufferers. I have it set to record. I will for sure watch it. Thank you so much again!!!!!!
