Subject: cervical orthosis

Hi Niki Van Lente

I have attached pictures of cervical orthosis design that

is very successful in supporting the head and neck, this patient suffered

cervical trauma due to a fall as well. With out the cervical orthosis on this

patient can not walk (completely paralyzed) due to vertebra subluxation that

pinches off a nerve as soon as the head drops a little. Utilizing the sternum

is an effective area for support; this also allows

the patient activity level to resume normally. Do you think your

patient could benefit from this type of support?

Cheers

Jeff
