Guest guest
Hi Graham, Helen and Shakeela, Thanks for your support. It is very nice to be appreciated. Guest guest
Dear Sally, Sometimes I look at those sites and immediately regret it. I have been a member of other sites similar to Bad Science and heard some of the poisonous tirades that some doctors get into. Thoroughly unpleasant and more than that, some people want our practice restricted or even outlawed. This is why I feel passionately that we have to control our own practice of herbal medicine. Anything less is potentially disastrous. In the US at the end of the 19th century there was a move to organise homoeopathic education to include medical science from the outset of training. This was at a time when homoeopaths made up around 20% of medics. As a result of this move towards wanting acceptance and approval by conventional medics, homoeopathy virtually disappeared in the US within a generation. All the best, Gascoigne > > Sorry, rereading, that was a bit of a whinge, onward and greenward. > > Sally > > > > > When I last ventured onto Bad Science, there was a herbal student > > posting there complaining about magical thinking etc, and being > > sympathised with and accepted into the " posse " > > > > I wonder if this was Mel?
