Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I was just recently diagnosed with Chiari Malformation and Intracranial Hypotension. I have only seen one neurologist and am awaiting my first appointment with the neurosurgeon. They have told me already that they want me to have the decompression surgery, but I am very hesitant to jump into anything. I am just on the beginning of my path but plan to do everything possible on the holistic side prior to surgery. In case anyone is interested, I am working with a guy that does Cranial Sacral work and it has helped quite a bit. It really helps to relieve my symptoms and it is the closest to normal I have felt in a while. I am also working with some people who do reiki (energy work) and biofeedback. Those help too with the symptoms. I am suffering from chronic fatigue and for that I am taking B-12 shots and Phosphorus 12c (homeopathy). I am also making arrangement to work with an acupuncturist. I plan on still seeing the neurosurgeon and making secondary appoints for second opinions, but I will continue to work on the holistic side as well. The body is an amazing vesicle and is capable of great things. I will keep everyone posted as I continue on my journey and best wishes to all of you who are fighting through yours.
