A potential patient is complaining of anosmia (no sense of smell)

Came on a year ago.

Not associated with infection, blows to the head/head injury,

headaches, otherwise healthy. Can breath through the nose. Can

perceive salt and sweet taste but more fragrant foods flavour affected.

He supplemented zinc for a while.

Appt. with ENT Dr's coming up soon.

Any insights greatly appreciated.
