Advice for fusion and decompression recovery

Hello. I am one month away from surgery. I will be having a decompression and a

cranial-cervical fusion down to C3, and it can't happen soon enough. Hanging in

there in the meantime.

I would love advice from anyone who could tell me anything about the hospital

stay, recovery, etc. When will I be able to do stuff around the house, go

places, etc.

There is a big family beach trip planned,5 weeks after my surgery, that I would

love to be able to go to. Is that crazy for me to think that I will go?

Dr. is doing my surgery. I will only have a two hour car ride home.
