Guest guest
Misty: Have you appealed your insurance company's decision? There are several powerful appeals letters in the files section. Check them out. Perhaps you can make them change their minds! Good luck Kendra MISTYPIERSON3@... wrote: HELLO I HAVE AN 8 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER WHO HAS TO HAVE THE DOC BAND AND INSURANCE WILL NOT PAY. Guest guest
Misty- My name is Tanda and my 8mnth old daughter Kaia has been in her DOC band for 4 weeks now. We went through several different agencies to help us pay. you can look these up in your phone book Easter Seals Red Cross- Emergency Services Focus on the Family- you call them and they will give the money to a church and the church will then disburse it to you. Your local community action center Catholic Charities -you also might want to look into pregnancy support centers, a lot of times they help with needs until baby is a year old. Hope this helps Tanda

Guest guest
Misty, My Uncle is a Shriner and we were told that if we had approached them, the shiners that they would have been able to pay for the any of the medical expenses that we might have incurred. I believe he even said travel expenses to seek medical treatment. The best advice is to look in the phone book and see if there is a branch in your area. The Shriners are tremendous philanthropists especially when it comes to children. I hope this is of some assistance Matt and Sue ----- Original Message ----- From: MISTY+ PIERSON <MISTYPIERSON3@...> <Plagiocephalyegroups> Sent: Tuesday, June 06, 2000 11:01 PM Subject: Re: IS THERE ANY CHARITY HELP? > TANDA > IM NEW AT THIS COULD YOU TELL ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE PREGNACY SUPPORT > CENTER.
