Guest guest
There are a few openings in these 2 ongoing art making groups. Current members have found the group helpful in providing a space for artmaking and for connecting and sharing with other creative arts therapists in a safe, supportive environment. We currently meet once a month on Thursday evenings and once a month on Sunday mornings. If you are interested pleace contact me directly at carensacks@.... I am happy to answer any questions you may have about these groups. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer! Art Making Group For Creative Arts Therapists We all know how important our own art making is to our personal well being and our ongoing work as creative arts therapists. Yet we often do not allow ourselves the time to create our own art. This on going group offers participants, (creative arts professionals and students are welcome) a monthly time to create art in the company of others. Art materials will be supplied but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Our own art making can enhance our wellbeing, be a source of self care, prevent burn out, lead to understanding and determining our personal and professional interests, and provide relaxation and comfort in a supportive environment. There will be time to get to know each other, and to create, discuss and explore your art making. We meet once a month for 1.5-2 hours. There are openings in 2 of the groups, one offered on Thursday evenings at 7:30 and the other on Sundays at 10:30. My office, in Mamaroneck, is easily accessible by metro north, and street parking is available. Please contact me with any questions or to express your interest. I can be reached at or at carensacks@... Caren Sacks, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS carensacks@... Caren Sacks, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS
