Guest guest
Sometimes the people that understand us the most end up being frustrated too by the things we do. Maybe (what a horrible word, but it's the only one I can find that relates to others) you realize deep down that even the people that make the biggest effort don't know everything that they can do to help you. Outside of the dream, you were fortunate to find a teacher like this! Keep it in your mind as one of the positive experiences!!! I wonder if your dream/thoughts follow you around and affect your moods.... Recently I had a Star Trek dream and it was so awesome that it followed me for the next couple of days. My mum commented how quiet I was and asked if I was upset! I was perfectly happy. These are the sorts of dreams that I wish could go on for a long, long time........ Bourquin wrote: I had a very weird dream last night. I was at school, and the task I was to complete was to find certain things in a group of photos. I looked at the task, and it said to " find examples of the social ladder " Perplexed, I asked the teacher what that meant. The teacher was Miss Kylie McCarthy from my Year7 days. She looked at me as though I was an idiot, and asked " You don't know what social ladder means? " I replied that I did not. She turned away and returned to playing cards in the dark with people I could not see (cos of the dark). I followed her, and asked her for her assistance. She replied, " Don't be an idiot. " Seriously irked, and I replied in anger, " Are you insulting me? " She paused for a moment, and then said " Yes I guess I am. " I got in her face and practically screamed, " DO NOT INSULT ME! I then returned to my table/desk, the person sitting across me shrugged. The dream then went onto some weirdness about the person sitting across from me's house on a cliff and cutting into that cliff for some reason. .... Weird... The weirdest part is that Miss McCarthy was one of the few teachers that actually understood me in my early high school years. And from what I've learnt since (through a study my cousin did on me at my school), she was the most willing to learn about my Asperger's and how it could affect my learning... Why she was so negative in this dream I don't know. I'm not entirely sure what that dream meant, if anything... But it has left me wondering. Kaylee ---------- Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Guest guest
" Star Trekkin, across the universe, always going forwards cos we can' t find reverse... " My favourite beings are the Borg.... don' t know why. I guess they sort of scare me but it's a good sort of scare! Have not seen all of S.T. so I am in no way an expert. I have seen all T.N.G though and have it on dvd. Also most of DS9 too. I haven't known anyone else to like it though, I think it's because I don't know that many people! Guest guest
It is my " obsession " too. I can think about it for hours and it is great fun, I enjoy every minute. Sorry, but I don't understand the expression " diehard " . Have heard it before but don't know what it is used for... There are lots of words that I just don't get. I want to buy the last of the series of DS9, it is the only one I haven't got! > >> I had a very weird dream last night. > >> I was at school, and the task I was to complete was to find certain > >> things > >> in a group of photos. Guest guest
Saying that I'm diehard means that it'd be extremely hard to disuade me. As the dictionary says: die-hard also die·hard (dhärd) adj. Stubbornly resisting change or clinging to a seemingly hopeless or outdated cause. I'd be " Stubbornly resisting change " though given Star Trek's current 'health'... I might fit into the latter too. Kaylee Re: [X-Posted] Dreams > > > > > > It is my " obsession " too. Guest guest
-Stupid I am some times, I didn't think to look it up! I am one of those people also. I happen to enjoy my " obsession " very much.
