I'm also having an issue with inaccurate temp

readings.

Which thermometer are you using now, and why do you

trust this reading vs. the others?

Hi Sammie,

I took several readings with this new thermometer and a glass

thermometer immediately to compare and this new one matched the glass

one. The old digital I had was way off and it really seemed

inaccurate because the temperatures didn't make sense with my

symptoms either. So, even though I could never be 100% I think this

is better. Oh, one more thing, I don't know how true packaging is,

but the package said it is accurate within .2 degrees. (the one I

have is by Vick's, but read the packages to see if you can find one

that claims accuracy).

OK, I thought my temps were getting a little high, but if they're not

then I'll hold. I take half a grain of armour in the am and half a

grain about 5 hours later.

I've been wanting to try more armour because I have a lot of neck and

shoulder pain. When is it ok to try that?

With severe adrenal fatigue you should only try1/8 to 1/4 grain doses .

I have seen folks that even had to try them starting every other day. so

that depends on your body. How severe the reactions you have to

increases and how long it has been since you increased.

It's been quite a long time since I last increased armour. I was

taking i grain all at once in the morning, but when I started with

group I started split dosing it, that last change, that was about two

and a half months ago. Unfortunatley, there have been times that

I've forgotten the second dose. If I were to increase the

armour, would that not affect my temperature readings?

It might or might not. My temps have stayed at 98.6 for over a year, and I have

done several thyroid dose changes.

If temperatures are around 98.6, how can we know when it's ok to

decrease H/C?

When you haven't had to stress dose in several weeks, and you not only have

stable temps, but no other hypo symptoms. If you start forgetting to take your

doses of HC and have no adrenal symptoms to remind you, you most likely do not

need that dose.
