I just went to our local health food store. They had in stock

Redmonds Real Salt, all natural sea salt. It was only $5.30. I

wasn't sure about it, so I thought I'd ask before buying. The makeup

is:

sodium chloride 98.32%

calcium .40%

potassium .12%

sulphur .11%

magnesium .10%

iron .06%

phosphorus .05%

iodine .002%

manganese .0015%

copper .001%

zinc .0006%

It doesn't say unrefined anywhere on the package. I know Val said we

need " good " sea salt. I'm guessing this isn't it, but the price is

so good, I thought I'd ask

and that reminded me to ask about my use of Celtic salt, this last week or

so and if it could be connected with the troubles with my BP med????????

Thanks Val, any idea how I could replenish?

Replenishing Potassium is easy. Eat Bananas, Orange Juice and baked potatoe

with the skin.

Sounds good, except all of those are no-nos with a low carb diet!

It's not as white as table salt. It has maybe a more yellowish hue to

it and you can see small brown minerals through it. What do you think?

Celtic and Redmond's are the two forms of unrefined salt specifically

recommended by Brownstein in his book Salt.

He doesn't specifically talk about dosage with respect to adrenals, but I've

noticed that he usually recommends 1/2 teaspoon (with a range from 1/4 teaspoon

to 1 teaspoon).
