There has now been a movie made about Dr. Burzynksi & his patients and struggles with the FDA, et al.  if you google -- Burzyinski the Movie -- I think it will come up. 

 

When it first came out you could view the full length movie online and there is also a transcript of the movie at the website. 

 

He is curing the only people they (the govt) will let him treat - only people with historically uncurable cancer (brain glioma?) -- not all of them -- but he isn't even allowed to try to treat them until they fail all conventional treatment (which hurrts their chances for success with his therapy).  But he holds all the patents, despite the govt's attemtps to steal them from him.

And he has had great success and the treatment deserves to be allowed to enter Phase 2 trails so he can help more people.

 

He has prevailed despite all the efforts to stop him.  But he needs a groundswell of support - enough that his opponents will be seen for the crooks they are!  So, they won't be able to continue to harass him legally and try to stop him. 

 

It's my understanding that the new govt website for petitions  will get his issue before the president -- if he gets enough signatures.  He only needed 5,000 and he has more than 50%.

 

So, if you can - spread the word.....  I share everyone's frustrations with computer issues - some days I just give up and shut it off.  Even if you can't get thru to sign up - share the link with your friends & other groups.  We should probably include the petition link & the movie website link so people can read up on the background of the issue. 

 

I will try to post something better to pass around, but I'm really having a bad time myself right now.  I'm so discouraged with my medical treatment and so limited physically & financially that it seems almost irrational for me to continue to try to recover.
