Guest guest
Here's a special search engine tip from Dummies Daily: Medical World Search is a special search engine that " crawls " though sites that deal with medical issues and are deemed " high quality " by the service's editors. You can search through the major search engines it carries or restrict it to one. Choices include InfoSeek, PubMed Medline, HotBot, Alta Vista, and Webcrawler. http://www.mwsearch.com
Guest guest
Hi Susie, When I tried this site all I got was a message that read " Connection refused " . Do you know why? > http://www.mwsearch.com > I am so glad that you had such a good time. You two deserve it. When you get together in a couple of months where will you be living? Rob will really have some adjusting to do, retirement & a new home, but I know you will make it easier for him. I wish the two of you all the best and hope he doesn't keep you too busy to post here. Thanks for all your help. ~~~Faye~~~
Guest guest
Faye, I forget who submitted that URL ... Bill Eastman? ... but it didn't work for me either. I am glad you are doing so well. I think we do need to focus on getting your morning fasting bg's lower, as you yourself acknowledge. But I think you should be proud of your progress ... including the new knowledge you have worked so hard on. Susie
Guest guest
It must have worked for me at least once because I have a bookmark on it! This is how I have it marked. http://www.mwsearch.com/ *hugs* Toni OtterCritter wrote: > > > Faye, I forget who submitted that URL ... Bill Eastman? ... but it didn't > work for me either. Guest guest
Susie, is that URL correct? When I tried to 'go there' I got a " document contains no data " notice from Netcom (my ISP). rjm OtterCritter wrote: > > Here's a special search engine tip from Dummies Daily: <snip> > http://www.mwsearch.com >
Guest guest
I think Dummies Daily were the dummies this time, Jim. I couldn't make that URL work after several tries. I use MSIE 5, so maybe it depends on the browser one uses, but http://www.mwsearch.com was a dud for me too. I should have test-driven it before posting to the group. Guest guest
It does not work for me from home. I'll try from work.
