* * *Employee Obligations*

all future direction set forth by the APAZ management.

2. Abide by all policies and procedures set forth in the Athletes'

Performance Policies and Procedures Manual.

3. Continually strive to improve your, and all fellow staff members,

knowledge and performance to best help the athlete.

4. Demonstrate the qualities: Character, Integrity, Loyalty,

Benevolence, Dedication, Passion, Compassion, Forgiveness, Desire,

Professionalism and Teamwork.

*Basic Functions*

1. Attends, plans, and/or conducts staff, student and/or community

meeting or lectures, and in-services.

2. May train and evaluate clinical students.

3. Perform evaluations for and supervise subordinate staff as

assigned.

4. Participate in program planning and development. Will design

and/or carry out related research.

5. Maintains professional credentials as required including attending

necessary continuing education courses.

6. Other duties as assigned by Director

*Functions – Performance Nutrition Manager*

1. Continue to refine nutrition presentation into a 101 & 102,

implement and present internal and external Nutritional Education Programs

consistent with APAZ systems, clients, and memberships (group and

individual)

2. Develop and document nutritional and supplementation plans for

each athlete, group or program.

3. Individual and group Consultation, Nutrition Education, and

specific strategies for their implementation.

4. Computerized nutritional analysis and review.

5. Supplement Coordination

a. Inventory

b. Ordering

c. Dispensing

d. Quality Assurance

e. Securing

6. Supervision of shake bar:

a. Quality Assurance Procedures for Supplementation Preparation and

Implementation.

b. Supplementation plan, implementation, and detailed record keeping

for each athlete in the system

c. Shake bar is kept up to code.

7. Body Composition /Weight Protocols (BW, LBM, %BF)

a. Increase

b. Decrease

c. Maintain

8. Testing and Evaluation

a. Coordination, Data Collection (Validity/Reliability), Input,

Analysis, Records, etc. of all available testing

Anthropometrics

1. Caliper, Body Grid, Circumferences, Height, Weight, etc.

9. Hydration Station Solutions

10. Blood Work for Appropriate Memberships

a. Coordinate blood draws, send to Analyze, Decipher Reports, Action

Plan, Athlete/Support Team Review

11. Present at educational symposia and writing on behalf of

Athletes' Performance.

12. Program

a. Understand AP methodology, instruction, and implementation of

prescriptions.

b. Create synergistic protocol for AP systems and programs

c. Program Evaluation, Implementation, and Re-Evaluation

d. Research for improving program.

I wish there was an opening of this sort in my area--- Northern california.

On another note, I had a patient that mentioned to me about a diet for

Psoriasis-- dies anyone know of a reliable source with this kind of information.

From what the patient told me the diet calls to eliminate all dairy, pork, red

meat, beans, pasta and bread.

the patient is Diabetic- has lost a great amount of weight and blood sugars

are looking supperb but Im concerned with hypoglycemia due to him been on Lantus

and Metformin, He feels great on the diet and would benefit from losing another

50 pounds -- his BMI is 32 now---

Anyone with any infor would be greatly appreciated-- again about Psoriasis.
