I have unearthed a candida (systemic) infection which I believe was due to steroid use as it is contraindicated for patients to take steroids if there is an existing funal, bacterial or viral infection. I tried to find out from the manufacturers if this was dose-specific but they could not tell me. Might help for you to look at that area maybe? Guest guest
Do you have low blood sugar or high? Mine has been running normal to low. MIne started before I started the HC. Liz Liz - I was also starving last night - I normally have no appetite at all. I was your archetypal hypoadrenal thin person - ate loads despite no appetite, thin as a rake. Now since starting Isocort and Cortef - I have put on 4kg (can't get in my jeans anymore , have nocturnal hypoglycemia (didn't have that before) and things are supposed to be getting better on the HC ???I suspected type 1 diabetes because of its supposed rapid onset (two weeks or so) and increased yeast infections as well as the hypoglycemia. I don't think I can cope with any more - I am already, hypothyroid, hypoadrenal, mercury toxic and now diabetic?? How much more can go wrong ((((Anyway, we are going away now for a week, so I won't be able to get to the doctor for a blood and urine test. So it's another week of bad sleep...Hope you're better than me.Nicola
Guest guest
When you first start HC the hunger is most likely due to the thyroid suddenly available to your cells. This amps up your metabolism immensely and makes your body NEED food for energy. When I am hungry I eat, something, usually a protein food is best as it will stay with you better, but now that my thyroid is just about optimal I am eating WAY more than I ever dared to in my life and my weight is holding very steady. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Pamela, it sounds like your metabolism is just plain waking up. Eat. Don't worry about the weight. Increase Armour as you can, and your blood pressure and temp will rise to normal and you will feel GOOD. Your weight will normalize, and so will your appetite. Your hungry all the time because you are literally starving. The low body temo is due to low thyroid, which even if oyur thyroid was pumping out emormous amounts oif hormones you body sn't gettig them due to the low cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Well, at least the hc seems to be getting some thyroid hormones into your system. You'll love Armour!
