IMP ng contest Reminder

Here

is the original message for the IMP branding contest. So far there have only

been a couple of submissions and we would like to have a bunch more. If you need

any additional information, let me know. Time is ticking….start creating.

As

many of you know, behind the scenes, the IMP organization has been working hard

to try and do all the things necessary to make the organization viable and

accessible to others. These things include but are not limited to getting

incorporated, getting the non-profit status straight from both the feds and

each individual state, setting up a board, developing a website (still in

process), debating and then developing a way to have membership, and setting up

the next IMPCamp without the benefit of any grants or any staff.

As

the IMP Secretary, I have set up the IMP Book detailing all the meetings and

containing all the necessary organizational paperwork. What I don’t have

is letterhead for official correspondence, envelopes, ideas for cool lapel pins

for members, etc. Given artwork and graphic design uses the other side of my

already quite full brain, I need some help.

So

the IMP exec board has decided to have a contest. We need the great artists and

graphic designers of the group to come forward and design letterhead, an

envelope, and whatever else we might need to put our best business face

forward. I have attached the current IMP logo and our official address to use

as you wish (or not if you don’t). Final submissions will need to be done

by July 31.

The

winner will receive one free year as a premium member of the IMP organization

(valued at $250), an IMPCap personally signed by whichever IMP or IMPs you want

(value: priceless), and the personal satisfaction that you helped shape the

fledgling organization’s identity.

For

those who have not yet done so, I implore you to join our organization at

either the regular or premium level. Medicine is in a bad way right now and we

need to get the word out that there is a better way. So far we have been

working on a shoestring budget, but we need money and members to continue to
