Guest guest
We will got the results from my ultrasound (Monday). Two of my nodules have grow from last year. They are 3-4cm. So she wants me to see an Endo. I posted on the Texas board about Armour Endo's in Houston. So now I'm waiting on call back for appointments. My next to oldest sister is a 9 year ThyCa survivor. My oldest sister was just diagnosed with Hashi's. I'm going to talk to her Sunday about what her Endo said(I've been giving her tons of info!). I guess right now I want to arm myself with info. If I do have cancer, I am leaning toward removal but no radiation. I have Hashi's my thyroid is dieing, so I don't see removing it as such a bad thing if there is cancer. I'm open to listening to everyones' input. Kate
Guest guest
I agree Kate. Cancer is removal time. If it is just nodules, more Armour. Here is wishing you the best and praying really hard for a good doctor as they can be so very hard to find. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I really meant for the this to go to main board! Thanks Val. I think I misunderstood the measure of the size. I think they are mm not cm. On the Texas board on person was saying that with Hashi's 50% of the time suppression doesn't work. I think I read somewhere that I was 50% likely to have cancer because of my sister having it. Her FNA came back undefined and they saw the cancer only when they removed the thyroid. Are you doing ok? Stress dosing? Take care of yourself! Kate At 02:10 PM 5/12/2006, you wrote: >I agree Kate. Cancer is removal time. If it is just nodules, more >Armour. Guest guest
>>On the Texas board on person was saying that with Hashi's 50% of the time suppression doesn't work.<< Yes but is this dosing to feel well or suppressing the TSH? I would probably not risk it if you are already on a good dose of Armour, sorry I can't remember how much you are taking. I know every doctor I have been to for the last 8 years can't even find my thyroid it is so tiny... Just the way I want it as it don't work anyway! I am doing OK.. Actually haven't needed to stress dose too much but haven't been working the last couple days either. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
My TSH has been suppressed for over a year. I'm on 4 grains. My afternoon temp is 98.7 to 98.9, I'm 98.4 to 98.1 in the evening and morning. My ferritin is still in the pits (17 in Jan). I'm on 20-25mg of HC. Glad your doing ok. I'm praying for you! Guest guest
Well it sure sounds like you are on enough Armour to suppress it if it was going to. But I wonder if the thyroid is getting where it needs to be with your low Ferritin. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Fatigue is my biggest complaint. Sex drive is still low. I'm on BCP. But will be coming off them in the next two-three months. My husband is getting a vasectomy in two weeks! Kate At 03:45 PM 5/12/2006, you wrote: >Well it sure sounds like you are on enough Armour to suppress it if it >was going to. Guest guest
..>> My husband is getting a vasectomy in two weeks!<< YAY good man! That is a whole lot less dangerous to his health than BC is to yours! LOL I am betting your tired has alot to do with the low Ferritin at this point. Here's hoping the combo of less E and more Iron helps you out. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
