Guest guest
Hello fellow TFCs! I received information regarding patients who are receiving free Cellcept and Valcyte through Genentech Access to Care Foundation. As of September 1, 2010 GATCF has a new eligibility criteria that " do not allow for the provision of free product to patients based on their co-pay burden. " GATCF will only be providing assistance to patients who are completely uninsured. I have a hard time understanding this, since all transplant patients need to have some type of insurance. Has anyone else heard this news? GATCF is suggesting that we now use either the HealthWell Foundation or the Patient Access Network Foundation to get assistance for our patients. Has anyone had any luck with either of these programs? Thoughts?? Thanks,
