My "so-not-an-expert" opinion :

According to Dr C at the last LIA, Himalayan salt is the best alternative.

Celtic sea salt according to the companies own analysis is also low is heavy metals.

I agree the idea of Morton's is a bit hard to swallow (no pun intended)>> no but that's interesting, i would never think mortons as safe salt. our doc always says the himalayan salt is the best as it's not from the ocean. i wish renewal or brainchild would sell it...i find it easier to pull the trigger when a vendor i purchase from has another key item....kind of sways the dollars and we know how many dollars we throw at this!> > > lisa>
