Guest guest
Good news...usually a few days before mens. my hair sheds big time-not this time-YAHOO!!! <G> I think that the presence of E helped and I upped the Saw Palmetto to help block the DHT increase at that time of cycle...still have burning in scalp daily-gets on my nerves at times...and, I am finally sleeping, I had forgotten what a good nite sleep was like.Still losing lashes and other hairs, that is obviously another health issue (like I really needed one...) I found out that it may be AU-praying that it isn't. I keep holding onto the possible fact that maybe I am just so sensitive to DHT...probably in denial since they can't cure AU! Did you know Saw Palmetto, also blocks EEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!! and the eyelash falling out can be low thyroid, more SOON.....hubby home ))
Guest guest
Great news about your hair growing, Lana! But what is "AU"? Guest guest
Lana, congrats on no big shed! one step at a time, Girl! I can tell you that after 2 months of E my scalp is feeling normal finally....so that should definitely go away...crossing my fingers that it's not AU in your case! -Lana wrote: After much thought about my body's rythmns and looking over the past few months, I decided to hang in there w/ooe and back off just a touch to see what happens-itching has settled down... Everything seems fine. I think that my body sort of "shocked" from going from almost no E to more E and I think that I increased it to fast (BIG lesson on patience for me)! Guest guest
I hope that it is due to rejuvination!!! That would be an honest to goodness God send! I, too, itch when I increase my E-my lashes let go at that time and my eyes are a little itchy, then it levels out. I do think I see a few baby lashes growing-I think. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be! No obvious new hairs on the scalp, but I am thinking positive. Guest guest
A few months after my hair started falling out I went on SP-per my Der. I take 2 caps, 2x daily-except for duing my bodies natural P phase and then I take add'l 2 more at noon. Ea. caplet is 1,725 mg and I use Spring Valley which I bought at Walmart. > >> > I upped the Saw Palmetto to help block the DHT increase at that time> > of cycle... Guest guest
AU=alopecea universalis, where you lose hair all over your body- thought to be auto-immune, but doesn't always show up in antibody tests. Basically, the body attacks hair follicles as it would a germ. Lana
Guest guest
LOL!!! Well those E receptors are going to have an non stop feast so they had better get used to it!!! No more E diet happening here-not if I can help it!! <G> Lana >> > Lana writes:> > Good news...usually a few days before mens. my hair sheds big time-> not this time-YAHOO!!! <G>> > > Excellent news, Lana. Guest guest
have been on E for 2 1/2 wks now and my hair fallout has reduce tremendously-can't say that for my lashes, however-bummer. I keep the faith and pray for the best being that in a few months the E will encourage some hair growth. I just read that eyelashes falling out can be low thyroid???? Howzzzzzz yours??? Guest guest
Yes, you are correct about the P phase and for that reason I do take it (saw p) during P phase as well as every single day-in fact, I add 2 more capsuls after my noontime meal. Re-read my post below...2 caps-2x daily, then in P phase add 2 more at noon. This seems to be working for me and I don't feel like my body becomes so deprived of E this way or "shocked" when I eliminate the extra SP when the P phase is over. I have been on E for 2 1/2 wks now and my hair fallout has reduce tremendously-can't say that for my lashes, however-bummer. I keep the faith and pray for the best being that in a few months the E will encourage some hair growth. Sorry if my posts don't always make sense-I am always doing 3 things at once...eating, typing, and "working"...<G> did I mention snacking?
