Lana, there are some women on this list here who have tried the "natural" WIP cream. Send a message to NUI and put in the subject line: "NUI help with natural WIP" and see if she will respond before your appt.

Don't think she liked it.

Madeleen

Hi, Lana, I didn't care for the Natural Base, it's shea butter, was not as nice as

the OOE.I didn't like the feel of it, seemed to set there on my skin, have you used

shea butter? If you like it, then that may be good to try. Also seemed to go in faster,

didn't like that, BUT I do have a friend that is on a small BHRT dose, she never did WP,

and for her,the Natural Base seems to work. I think that since I need alot more E than

she it does, that makes a huge diffference, just wasn't good for my needs.

Also she is an Adrogen woman, thinning hair, always been high in Test.........

she said three weeks on it, NB,her facial hair stared to soften, and she saw new hair

sproutgrowth on her scalp. She is 58 and had been on no BHRT.

I know that when my E gets too low, my scalp gets oily, and starts to shed like a dog

in summer. E has given me life, and I never knew how many things E helped, til I had

enough in me. For me, allergies go away, pain fades to a memory, and my memory is

like when I was young, my pain tolerance has improved, happy mood and peace,

more patience too. I could go on and on....think you got the idea, I love E. OOE is what

I use, BUT I have tried most. I have a stash of patches, but my E need is so high, that

I go through them in a day....easier to just drop on OOE:)))

The NB cream comes in a tub, and you need to use a spoon to measure it.....

I like the drop and go method, you can even do it in the dark:)) GOOD luck, keep postin,

I too found the books by Vliet, Uzzi, very helpful, HUGS ....( NUI )

Thanks ever so much for the info and sure appreciate your addressing

the issue. I am going with my " gut " instinct and will try the OOE

first since my obivious need for E is really critical and I want to

use whatever will get me there-sounds as if the OOE is the way to go!

Oooh, I here ya on the oily scalp-I get zits on the base of my head

at the neck from that grease! The further away that I get from my

period the less shedding and I am guessing it's due to the drop in P?

I have some black hairs above the lip but not elsewhere. I wish I

knew why my eyelashes/brows are thining out so much. Is that lack of

E related?

Know all to well of the symptoms you mentioned!! I thought that I

was getting Alzheimer's because I would forget things, lose track of

things, brain fogs, massive bone aches...etc. 1 week of E made those

things a distant memory!!! Tomorrow I get my RX for E-hurray!!!!!

Thanks again,

Lana

Lana, I think that the thinning eyebrow thing is low thyroid!!!!!!!!!!!! Low thyroid has ALOT

of the low E symptoms too. BUT I think getting your E stable first is important. I am now addressing my thyroid, and am seeing that it is an E gobbler too. I have had to up my E, was settled in at 10-12 mgs. a day.....been needing more like 14-16 again....like the old WP days

I stopped my Test too, so that may be the cause( for needing more E, not getting it thru the pathways?).....wanted to test my E next month without test. in me,

I was getting such high E numbers and on lots less E. OH those pesky chin hairs are way less off Test., but still needing more E.

It just gets more exciting all the time, LOLLOL......but as long as I have my E, I do well, just have to adjust as needed, LOL. GOOD LUCK, we're all in this together, the next generation will hopefuly have a good path to follow :))))

It is so crazy because my thyroid tests came back right in the mid range-not low, not high! Which is why my GYN snet me to the endocrinologist because she wanted to see if she was missing a piece of the puzzle...he did not find anything...the saga continues!Lana

Low E, is a BIGGGGY......but if your E doesn't quite do it, you may need a dash of thyroid. I too was in middle for my FT3, but my FT4 was low normal.....do feel better with some extra thyroid, NOW it's balancing um, LOL . :))) L

You need to have your thyroid checked. The parameters have changed for hypothyroidism and are more inclusive. Your symptoms may have to do with the thyroid.

Lana, did you have your Free T3 and Free T4 checked? And though your TSH might be in the midrange, it still might not be right for you. I'm reading anything over 1.5 is to high. Mine is 1.07 with low Free T3 and I just started Armour.

That's not good. That's hypO. If you have low body temp with your symptoms,

you're most likely thyroid-ill. Read this web site:

www.stopthethyroidmadness.com

> Which is why my GYN snet me to the endocrinologist

An Endo? For Thyroid? Seriously? An endo? Why?

>...he did not find anything...the saga continues!

Of course he didn't, he's an Endo. You could be dying and flailing around

with

rupturing everything, turning blue, with snakes, and if you're TSH and T4

are

" within normal range " you're deemed thyroid healthy.

Um, I'm not fond of endos, by the way. But I've heard there are a small few,

scattered

about the country, who are intelligent, have common sense, and know the

correct

way to address thyroid and the other hormones. Finding them is similar to

the old

needle in a haystack thing.

#1 address your thyroid first, then your female hormones. Doing it the other

way

will be more difficult and might not give you the results you want. Check

out that

website, and the links section. Very good " true " info.

Lana, you have no P during the first week after your period. P rises during the luteal phase of your cycle starting on day 15, and then drops again around day 28 right before your period...so actually the further you're away from your period the more P you get..but your E picks around day 14-15...so if thats when things start looking better, that's cuz of the pick in E. Do you know what your T is like? have you been tested for insulin resistance and PCOS? excessive hair growth is a sign of too much T, while thinning eye brows is the sign of low T and low DHEA..also you get that with some thyroid problems. Hope this helps...Lana wrote: ,Thanks ever so much for the info and sure appreciate your addressing the issue. I am going with my "gut"
