M Proteins

Does anybody have high M-proteins? I went to a new Rheumy about a month ago and

the nurse called me a couple of weeks ago. She said my m-proteins are high and

it could be myeloma and that they would contact an oncologist to set up an appt.

Well, I still haven't heard back from anyone, even after several voice messages.

I am trying not to stress about it and went to my gp to re-do the same tests and

he said we would have the results back this week and go from there. He is

sending me to a new Rheumy too. I cannot believe that doctors and their staff

would tell you something like that and then drop the ball. I wonder how they

would feel if someone did it to them. Sorry, I had to vent, my hubby is trying

so hard to understand this awful disease, but it is hard since I have good days

and then out of nowhere, I'm down again.
