Karin, I think quite several of us tried it. We did not like it much. You have to spread a whole package of creamy liquid like stuff all over you in exchange for a low dose of estradiol. Guest guest Posted April 27, 2006 Report Share Posted April 27, 2006 Most of thickness disappears w/a good bleed. I bled all month and very heavy for 1 and half weeks. I also used no estradiol for 10 days and took progesterone. I felt miserable but had to stop the bleeding. This last month I cut down on the estradiol (took just the patch and very little additional E) and was able to take just one dose of P (vaginally) and got a very pleasant 5 day period. The only other thing I am taking now is Vit D/calcium in a fairly high dose. The thickness of my lining was done about 2 1/2 weeks after my period. I still feel like I could use a little extra E mainly a memory/foggy feeling sometimes. Guest guest Posted April 27, 2006 Report Share Posted April 27, 2006 This is what is SO frustrating. You take enough E to feel good and then you get the BLEED!! I guess we really need to up our P. But then when we up our P, we feel BAD. Helpful aren't I? I find that the crinone gel helps the most with the bleeding. But I'm feeling those old achy -breaky joints flaring up again with the P. No E for 10 days??
