Guest guest
Shirley- I was diagnosed as having FMS/CFS in 1994. I've been using guaifenisen for the FMS, and head great improvement, but still had a lot of health issues that were not getting any better or had plateaued. My doctor tested me for heavy metals and found my mercury levels were off the chart. He suggested I have my mercury amalgams removed and my root canal pulled by a dentist familiar with the appropriate techniques. I did this over a period of months. I felt sick after each replacement (we did a quadrant at a time) and then much better some time later. Pulling the root canal was a big lift in terms of the fog, alone. My levels are still high even though we have removed the source of the poisoning. He wanted me to detox with chelation, either IV or oral, but I get so sick when he even tests me that I was not willing to risk it. My concern is that he may free up mercury buried in my tissues but I may not be able to move it out, so I'l only feel worse. So how to get the mercury out? What I decided to do was to cleanse my kidneys first (parsley juice, herbs, I can look it up for you if interested) and then use the Hulda e flush for my liver and gallbladder (www.drclark.com). After four flushes, I am still getting huge stones out, some that clearly are smashed together in the shape of a bile duct, leading me to believe my liver is totally clogged. Since your liver is what filters out the toxins in your body, a clogged one clearly is not up to the task. Imagine if you never took out the trash at home...eeeeek! Not a pretty picture. No wonder I feel so bad. After each flush I am tired for a day and then get a huge energy boost. My hair, nails and skin are much improved. My varicose veins are fading. My fog is manageable and improving. To help my body take out the huge backload of trash (continuing the metaphor) that must be accumulating even inside my cells at this point, I take undenatured whey whch I get at www.needs.com. I take two teaspoonfulls in room-temperature filtered water first thing in the am, and wait about an hour to eat afterward. I keep trying to up the whey until I can get to two tablespoonfuls, which is what my doctor wants. It's hard to work up because if you get too much, you can really feel either wired or slammed. Doing this has made a dramatic difference in my fatigue levels. I sleep reasonably well at night most of the time. I can go to work, come home, cook dinner and spend some time wih my son before doing the dishes and going to bed. Only a year ago, it was work-home-eat-bed, most of the eating done on a paper towel so that dishes didn't accumulate. Now I can actually prepare FOOD. This is probably more info than you wanted, but I think I have to be clear on what I've done, in what sequence, and why. And I have to be clear that I think mercury is only part of the problem, perhaps a symptom rather than a cause (don't care to argue), but a serious matter in any event and something that has to be addressed if you have or have had amalgams or root canals. Best wishes for good health! Guest guest
I'd just like to add about the mercury. It's important to be tested. I have a mouthful of fillings and after reading the posts was convinced this was part of my problem. I was going to have my fillings removed. However, I have attended Dr. Majid Ali's clinic in NJ and he did a toxic metal test and my mercury levels were low. My blood oxzygenisation levels were out of whack though (2 doctors have confirmed this) and that's what we're trying to fix now. I really think the problem with many people is that their bodies are too acidic. I know I have a problem with sugar, caffeine, chocolate, dairy products. Dr. Ali also did a food allergy test and all the above were the foods I should avoid along with anything with yeast. It's important to avoid acid forming foods. Guest guest
Margaret, I agree! I had my mercury tested, and... nope, not a problem. (Which is always good news.) I'm FINALLY feeling better!! I've been working with a nutritionist, and I'm way low on zinc and my PH is severely out of whack. Just taking a zinc assay (liquid supplement) and switching to an alkaline diet is a huge help. Of course I will be adding other things to, as we work on root causes. Best, Diane __________________________________________________

Guest guest
cytomel is a prescription thyroid replacement hormone. the other is an amino acid, I beleive. Guest guest
- I use undenatured whey, called Immunepro, I buy from www.needs.com. It's not something you'd put in a shake. It stimulates your liver to produce glutathione to help detox heavy metals and whatever other toxins you are challenged with. I take 1/2 Tbsp a day, that's a lot for me, I can really feel it. Yes, it's good to be amalgam-free before doing the cleanse, but cleansing alone is fine if you are not amalgam-free. The cleanse will remove the physical obstructions in your bile ducts (stones) that keep your bile from flowing freely. This can only help, amalgams or no. Hope this info helps you. Guest guest
No. the liver flushes aer NOT the same as colonics and they are cheap AND you can do them easily at home with no special equipment. Did another this Friday and feel GREAT today! Guest guest
Liver Cleanse from Hulda e's website (http://www.drclark.net/info/liver.htm): " Ingredients Epsom salts: 4 tablespoons Olive oil: half cup (light olive oil is easier to get down), and for best results, ozonate it for 20 minutes. Add 2 drops HCl. Fresh pink grapefruit: 1 large or 2 small, enough to squeeze 2/3 cup juice. Hot wash twice first and dry each time. Ornithine: 4 to 8, to be sure you can sleep. Don’t skip this or you may have the worst night of your life! Large plastic straw: to help drink potion. Pint jar with lid Black Walnut Tincture, any strength: 10 to 20 drops, to kill parasites coming from the liver. Choose a day like Saturday for the cleanse, since you will be able to rest the next day. Take no medicines, vitamins or pills that you can do without; they could prevent success. Stop the parasite program and kidney herbs, too, the day before. Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch such as cooked cereal, fruit, fruit juice, bread and preserves or honey (no butter or milk). This allows the bile to build up and develop pressure in the liver. Higher pressure pushes out more stones. 2:00 PM. Do not eat or drink after 2 o'clock. If you break this rule you could feel quite ill later. Get your Epsom salts ready. Mix 4 tbs. in 3 cups water and pour this into a jar. This makes four servings, ¾ cup each. Set the jar in the refrigerator to get ice cold (this is for convenience and taste only). 6:00 PM. Drink one serving (¾ cup) of the ice cold Epsom salts. If you did not prepare this ahead of time, mix 1 tbs. in ¾ cup water now. You may add 1/8 tsp. vitamin C powder to improve the taste. You may also drink a few mouthfuls of water afterwards or rinse your mouth. Get the olive oil (ozonated, if possible) and grapefruit out to warm up. 8:00 PM. Repeat by drinking another ¾ cup of Epsom salts. You haven't eaten since two o'clock, but you won't feel hungry. Get your bedtime chores done. The timing is critical for success. 9:45 PM. Pour ½ cup (measured) olive oil into the pint jar. Add 2 drops HCl to sterilize. Wash grapefruit twice in hot water and dry; squeeze by hand into the measuring cup. Remove pulp with fork. You should have at least ½ cup, more (up to ¾ cup) is best. You may use part lemonade. Add this to the olive oil. Also add Black Walnut Tincture. Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery (only fresh grapefruit juice does this). Now visit the bathroom one or more time, even if it makes you late for your ten o'clock drink. Don't be more than 15 minutes late. You will get fewer stones. 10:00 PM. Drink the potion you have mixed. Take 4 ornithine capsules with the first sips to make sure you will sleep through the night. Take 8 if you already suffer from insomnia. Drinking through a large plastic straw helps it go down easier. You may use oil and vinegar salad dressing, or straight honey to chase it down between sips. Have these ready in a tablespoon on the kitchen counter. Take it all to your bedside if you want, but drink it standing up. Get it down within 5 minutes (fifteen minutes for very elderly or weak persons). Lie down immediately. You might fail to get stones out if you don't. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. Don't clean up the kitchen. As soon as the drink is down walk to your bed and lie down flat on your back with your head up high on the pillow. Try to think about what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!). Go to sleep, you may fail to get stones out if you don't. Next morning. Upon awakening take your third dose of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed. Don't take this potion before 6:00 am. 2 Hours Later. Take your fourth (the last) dose of Epsom salts. You may go back to bed again. After 2 More Hours you may eat. Start with fruit juice. Half an hour later eat fruit. One hour later you may eat regular food but keep it light. By supper you should feel recovered. How well did you do? Expect diarrhea in the morning. Use a flashlight to look for gallstones in the toilet with the bowel movement. Look for the green kind since this is proof that they are genuine gallstones, not food residue. Only bile from the liver is pea green. The bowel movement sinks but gallstones float because of the cholesterol inside. Count them all roughly, whether tan or green. You will need to total 2000 stones before the liver is clean enough to rid you of allergies or bursitis or upper back pains permanently. The first cleanse may rid you of them for a few days, but as the stones from the rear travel forward, they give you the same symptoms again. You may repeat cleanses at two week intervals. Never cleanse when you are [acutely] ill. Sometimes the bile ducts are full of cholesterol crystals that did not form into round stones. They appear as a “chaff” floating on top of the toilet bowl water. It may be tan colored, harboring millions of tiny white crystals. Cleansing this chaff is just as important as purging stones. " I personally fast on organic applejuice the day of to help soften the stones and cleanse the bowel. I get boatloads of stones most of the time, but always feel better. Guest guest
Does anyone know anything about the relationship of fibromyalgia, the B7 genetic marker, (???) and rheumatod arthritis? I tested negative for RA, but have a low-high B7 (??) rate. The Rheumy is not that concerned about it at this point, he'll continue to try to get my fibro under control, and if not, will head on to try to treat this ..whatever B7 brings on. I think he (the doc) said something like " spondyloarthritis " I just did a search, and am rather confused by this info...looks like its mostly a pediatric problem? Sorry, that's all I know about it at this point. Any info would be appreciated. thanks for trying! gini
