Guest guest
Hi- I'm new to the group and this is my first post. I've been dxed with Fibro since 1997, am also hypothyroid, hypoglycemic, allergic to what and have heavy metal toxicity diagnosed via urine tests. My main symptoms are fog, fatigue, muscles that burn on exertion, and joint pain. I have a bazillion other symptoms too, but these are the ones I'm still working on getting under control. Things I've tried: Acupuncture/pressure Massage Medicinal herbs Vitamins NAET Probiotics Mineral baths Guaifenisen/Robinul Armour Thyroid/Cytomel I'm open to consider just about any thing. I'm looking for more than just band-aids, I'm so far gone those don't work for me for very lonmng, if at all. Thanks for any help and support any of you can provide. I'm really interested in your success stories! Guest guest
Hi Roseanna, Welcome. I could just about ditto your entire post, even the No. Ca and age 50 part. am over weight by about 100-125 lbs also. I am embarking on the de-tox route. Just built one of Dr. Hulda 's zappers yesterday and zapped for the first time last nite.....(Rod you were a big part of my inspiration) and I had very vivid dreams. I felt hot after and most of the nite, like having a hot flash (am post menopausal......tried abbreviating it first as post-men, but decided that wouldn't work, but too true too,,,haha) Anyway.... Mon Am I get blood tests for Lyme (nested by PRC), Thyroid Panel & intestinal permeability(Great Smokies) and CBC (by Bio-Probe) am in the middle of an intestinal cleanse, but have to suspend for a couple of days for these tests.....Then thurs and Fri I have first appt. with the dentist and dr who will be coordinating almalgam removal and Vit C/B IVs.....am in the middle of reading the BioProbe DDS 's book on Mercury Detox and have ordered Andy Cutler's book on Mercury Detox.....also just joined the Autism-Mercury List and I recommend it for anyone dealing with this.....It is all very confusing and too much info too fast to absorb. Have been about 90% compliant with type O, non-secretor diet and a miniscule, but rigorous for me exercise program including standing bike and....started seeing a Myofacial Pain Therapist body worker who is doing fabulous things to my body.....just wish I could see him once a week. I still hurt lots, esp back, legs and arms, but my mind is clearer and my energy is much greater....can actually be active for 8 hrs (and then collapse).....way different than November when I was having trouble staying focused for more than two hrs and eating sugar nearly every day. And my depression is taking a back seat to some excitement about the mercury removal. AND I have this list and a few others to thank daily for the inspiration, information and focus...... Guest guest
Hi Roseanna My name is Tammy and I had fibromyalgia for 12 years. I got tremendous relief from glyconutritionals, phytonutrients and phytogenins. They are simply food supplements that if we lived on earth 100 years ago, we would have had them in our foodstuffs. Now, with all the processing/synthesizing/pasteurizing, etc. these nutrients have been stripped from our diet. I have several friends that have also been helped.....not sure what it would do for you, but I was to the point of trying ANYTHING and thankfully, I got my answer. You can go to www.glycoscience.com and type in fibromyalgia and you will get a lot of hits. It's somewhat overwhelming, but it's a place to start anyway. Hope this helps, Tammy > Hi- > > I'm new to the group and this is my first post. Guest guest
Hello, I am sorry that you have had to go through so much, like a lot of us already have. I think that if someone can nip it in the bud early we would not have to go through so much pain. I was wandering if anyone on the list has tried Bowen therapy. I have heard from this lady I know and she said one treatment relaxed her and she plans on going again today. Also, in Dr. Starlanyls book "Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain" she had it done and also loved it. You can call the Bowen Institute to find out if they have someone trained in your area. I don't have the number right by me right now but if you need the number e-mail me and I can try and find it......Tonya

Guest guest
Jaen, how do you make zapper? Is there a schematic how to create it? Thanks Tony
Guest guest
Tony- I use both because my stomach is very sensitive and I can't take all the guai I need to clear. Robinul does the same thing as guai, but is easier on the stomach. Guai has no side effects, Robinul can make you fogged, disoriented, headachey, and sleepy. I take so little I notice none of these side effects now, although the first week I had a headache and felt a little spacey. Join the guai suport group. They're very helpful and there's a wealth of knowledge in the archives. I can send you the link, if you need it. Guest guest
ps. I'm MUCH better on guai. My feet actually flex now and I can walk up hills and stairs. In 1993, I was in a wheelchair. Now, I walk everywhere and only stairs and hills are a problem, and only if more than one flight or very steep. I can do it slowly, but the muscle burn is incredible. I have to stop every few steps and wait for it to subside. I walked my 90-lb Std poodle up a 30-to-45 degree incline for about 100 feet in the hills near my house yesterday and the day before, and had no ill effects other than fatigue at the exertion. I year ago, I culd not have held the leash..the first time he pulled on it it would have felt like my arm was coming out of it's socket, and ached for a week thereafter. No prob this weekend, although I had a twinge or two the few times he tugged. Guest guest
Hi Jaen, thanks for your note! I am just in the process of having all my amalgams removed. I started in February, and should be done in April. My MD wants me to do a detox once they are all out, but I've heard there are a lot of options and not all of them are safe or easy. If you or anyone on this list has recommendations, I'm all ears! He did a urine test with a DMPS provocation (made me sicker all by itself for about a month afterward, and I understand I was lucky that's all that happened) and my mercury level was 51, should be 3. At one point I had 28 amalgams, now I'm down to one and three gold crowns (all coming out to be replaced with ceramic composite). He gave me all the Great Smokies tests for parasites and digestive enzymes, that I have yet to complete, and a 24-hour urine collection for hormones also waiting for me to finish and send it in. Between the amalgams and the tests, my budget is shot so I'm doing these things as fast as my cash flow will allow. I'm actually feeling pretty good since he put me on magnesium and amino acids for liver support, and also gave me cytomel for the brain fog and fatigue. I'm no where near " well " , but the improvement is dramatic, but levelling off. I guess I need to solve this puzzle on layer at a time, like peeling an onion! My IBS came under control once I did a six-month candida clense with Primal Defense (sal-full, for those of you on guai). My insomnia, reflux and fog got better on the HG diet. Eliminating wheat did a lot for my joint pain. Wouldn't this all be simpler if there was a " one size fits all " cure? At least we have each other to help figure it out! If I waited for a doctor to help, I'd still be waiting! Although the guy I'm seeing now seems to have a few tricks up his sleeve and has helped a lot, after years of searching and crying for help! How far along are you on the mercury detox? What symptoms did you have that were helped? What would you do differently if you could? Thanks again for all the info!
