Guest guest
Hi , I would say most people here share your feelings about the band! It is bitter sweet. On one hand you're thankful that this type of treatment is available and on the other hand you don't know what to expect and it's nerve wracking! I know just what you mean. Sweating is very common at first when babies get their new bands, but it does get better somewhat as the baby's body temp adjusts to having something on its head 23 hours a day. In Dallas in the summer, however, you will need to take the band off and wipe down his head and the band off and on throughout the day especially when you're out and about. Be sure to run out and turn the car on before you go out so the air conditioning is going and blowing before you get him out there. Dress him very lightly and maybe run a fan in his room at night. He'll do great - babies are so incredibly adaptable! Let us know when the band comes in.
