I'd agree on checking with your doctor first with the phosphasoda. I had a colonoscopy done last year, and the stuff worked TOO well. I was up all night, and when I had the procedure done I almost flew off the table my colon was so irritated - even though I was so stoned from the "twilight meds" I couldn't see straight! Unfortunately, the idea is to keep (toxic) HIV meds in our systems long enough to work. I avoid "purges" or "detox" treatments, but keeping my metabolism balanced any (reasonable) way I can is very important. That's my outlook from a lot of experience.

Re: Colon Cleansing

Eli,

I think I'd consult a gastroenterologist before I start doing stuff to my colon. We need a balance of good and bad bacterias in the intestinal track, otherwise you set yourself up for bowel problems later on.

But, I can tell you that Fleet Phosphasoda will clear you out, and in very short order. You will think that you and the toilet are partners lol. This is what my GI Dr uses when I get colonoscopies done. Mix with ginger ale to make it taste better, but again, check with your doc first.vaeagle2@... wrote:

Does anyone know about this product/company regarding colon cleansing? Is it something recommended for people with HIV? I'm just curious as with time, the food we ingest along with drinks (sodas, etc), meds, and others can really put a heavy toxin and unecessary burden in one's system. Any thoughts, warnings, concerns, suggestions, advise will be great. Thanks everyone!EliWashinton, DChttp://www.drnatura.com/?ovchn=GGL & ovcpn=Google & ovcrn=abdominal+exercises & ovtac=PPC
