I would think so. The only concern that Dr. G has expressed to me about

Lauricidin was the potential for an allergic reaction in some people and that he

didn't think it was very effective. In our experience, it was helpful but only

mildly so compared to the Rx antiviral. You do need to start slow and build

up. Curt did well starting with 5 pellets and slowly building up to a full

scoop twice a day over a period of three weeks. Some have needed to build up

much slower though and I have heard of some having allergic reactions to it.

I do not think he addresses it at all.

Thanks very much Gaylen. When you mention allergic reaction - how does

this manifest itself?

I give Lauricidin to my son.

He is almost 2 1/2 yo, 23 pounds, and I give 1/4 scoop twice a day.

It probably varies from kid to kid like any allergic reaction but the ones I

know who couldn't tolerate it tended to be more hyper or get really stuffy

noses or intestinal stuff that lasted for several weeks. Unfortunately, those

can also be viral symptoms so hard to know if it's a viral die-off or an allergy

unless you wait it out for 3 weeks.
